Safeco Self Storage and Removals want you to enjoy the experience and the service we offer. To begin with, here is some useful information which should help you through the moving and storage process.

How do I estimate the amount of space I need?

Here is a storage calculator to help work out how much space you need.  Or, if you prefer, our trained professionals can assist you to calculate how much space you will require.  Choose your location and then call us at Woodville (08) 8345 1588 or Windsor Gardens (08) 8367 7444 to arrange an appointment.

Is my storage under cover?

Yes. All our units are housed within a large warehouse to provide double protection from the weather for you and your goods. All are easily accessible and some are even drive-up units that allow you to unload under cover with the minimum of fuss. Trolleys are provided to make your move even easier.

Do I need insurance?

Safeco Storage can provide you with a storage insurance policy which caters especially for your storage needs. It is not essential – simply a personal choice. It is also worth checking with your own insurance company to see if they cover your storage unit under your existing contents cover.

Can I change to a different size storage unit?

Yes.  If your needs change, you can adjust the unit size. Whether you need more or less space your needs will be met.

What is the minimum time I can rent a storage unit for?

One month is the minimum rental period.

Can I store for longer than I originally booked?

Yes. If you need to extend your storage period, it isn’t a problem. Your storage agreement will continue to extend automatically until you provide the required 7 day’s notice to tell us you no longer need the unit.

When do I have to pay?

Your storage payment must always be in advance. You can pay weekly, fortnightly, monthly or yearly.  You can pay whatever sum you wish, as long as your account stays in credit and you can choose to pay by cash, credit card, cheque, money order or direct debit.

Do I need a lock?

Yes.  You provide your own lock and keep the key. If required, you can purchase a lock from our storage facilities.

Should I be worried about rodents?

No.   Safeco Storage is treated by ECO Pest every 3 months for rodents and other pests.

Do you sell packing supplies?

Yes.  A wide range of boxes, tape, bubble wrap and paper is available from our facilities or from our online shop which you can visit here. Purchases over $50.00 have free delivery!
