Safeco Self Storage and Removals want you to enjoy the self-storage or removal experience. We have provided some useful information which should help you through this process.
Q. How do I estimate the amount of space I need?
A. No two people have the same amount of goods to store. Our web site has a storage calculator to help work out how much space you need.. Q. Is my storage under cover?
A. Yes. All units are built within a large warehouse providing double protection for you and your goods from the weather. All are easily accessible and some of these are drive up units allowing you to unload very quickly. Trolleys are provided to make your move even easier.
Q. Do I need insurance?
A. Safeco Storage can provide you with a storage insurance policy, catering especially for the storage industry. It is not essential, it is personal choice. Also, check with your own insurance company, as they may cover your storage unit in your contents cover.
Q. Can I change to a different size storage unit?
A. Yes, If your needs change, you can adjust the unit size. Bigger or smaller, your needs will be met.
Q. What is the minimum time I can rent a storage unit for?
A. One month is the minimum storage period.
Q. Can I store for longer than I thought I needed to?
A. Yes, if you need to continue your storage it is not a problem. Your storage agreement will continue to extend until you provide 7 days notice that you no longer need the storage unit.
Q. When do I have to pay?
A.Your storage payment must always be in advance. You can pay weekly, fortnightly, monthly, yearly, in fact you can pay as much as you wish, as long as the payment stays in advance. You can pay by cash, credit card, cheque, money order or direct debit.
Q. Do I need a lock?
A. Yes, you provide your own lock and keep the key. If required a lock can be purchased from the facility.
Q. Should I be worried about rodents?
A. No, Safeco Storage is pest controlled every 3 months by ECO pest.
Q. Do you sell packing supplies?, Ask about our free delivery
A. Yes, all boxes, tape, bubble wrap and paper is available from our facilities.
